Where We Deliver
We primarily ship with UPS, Purolator, Fedex, or our local delivery courier. Please be sure to choose one of these options on checkout. As of September 26, 2025, shipping with Canada Post is temporarily unavailable.
Please note that any labour disruptions with Canada Post will result in extra shipping volume and longer shipping times for couriers, and for this reason we recommend you order early. We are unable to ship to PO boxes during a Canada Post labour disruption.
We ship coast to coast in Canada, and offer local gift delivery in Halifax, NS.
Please double-check your shipping address before placing an order. Customers are responsible for any extra fees caused by incorrect addresses. We also recommend keeping an eye on your tracking number and ensuring someone is home to accept the delivery. Although issues are rare, we can’t be responsible for stolen deliveries.
Shipping within Canada
- Free shipping: Orders over $109 (before tax) to all Canadian provinces (except some remote locations).
- Orders under $109: Real-time shipping rates are shown at checkout.
- Bulk orders (10+ boxes): Charged at 50% of real-time shipping rates.
Local Delivery (Halifax & Dartmouth)
- Free delivery: Orders over $109 (except postal codes B3P, B3T, B3V, B3Z).
- Orders under $109: $10–$14 depending on the area.
- Special postal codes (B3P, B3T, B3V, B3Z): At least $24 for same/next-day delivery for orders under $109.
- At least $12 if the order is over $109.
- Addresses more than 30 km from Chamberlain Drive: Additional delivery fees apply. We’ll contact you if this affects your order.
- If you don’t need same/next-day delivery, please choose UPS, Purolator, or free shipping (if eligible) at checkout.
United States
As of February 2, 2025, shipping to the United States is paused indefinitely.

Shipping:
- Orders are sent via courier or Canada Post.
- Please allow up to 1 business day for processing before your order is shipped.
Local Delivery:
- Available in Halifax, Dartmouth, and select surrounding areas (see below for eligible postal codes).
- Delivered by our local courier partner Haligone.
- Same-day delivery available.
- If your address qualifies, you’ll be able to choose a delivery date on the cart page.
We offer free local delivery to select areas Monday–Friday (and some Saturdays, if available on the cart page calendar) for orders over $109.
Areas included:
Halifax peninsula, Bedford, Lower & Middle Sackville, Clayton Park, Armdale, Beaver Bank, Hammonds Plains, Dartmouth, Eastern Passage, Cole Harbour, Fall River, Waverley, Porter's Lake, and Lawrencetown.
Postal codes included:
B2X, B2W, B2Y, B3A, B3G, B2V, B0J 3A0, B2R, B3H, B3J, B3L, B3K, B3B, B4B, B3M, B4C, B3R, B4E, B4G, B3S, B3N, B4A, B3E, B2Z, B2T (Fall River only).
Same/next-day delivery (available for an extra fee):
B3P, B3V, B3T, B3Z.
Important details:
- You’ll be asked to provide the recipient’s phone number at checkout for a smooth delivery.
- If the address is outside our delivery zone, we’ll ship by courier instead (please allow 1–2 extra business days). Rush orders just outside the delivery area may be possible — email hello@cheerfetti.ca.
- If your address qualifies, the Local Delivery option will appear on the shipping page in the list of options. If you don’t see it, your order will be shipped instead.
- Local delivery isn’t compatible with PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Amazon Pay. If you’d like to use one of these methods, please email hello@cheerfetti.ca after checkout and we’ll refund the shipping fee, if applicable.
It’s easy! Follow these steps:
- Add an item over $30 to your cart.
- Click View Cart when the cart pops out.
- Scroll to the Shipping Rates Calculator section.
- Enter Canada, Nova Scotia, and the postal code for the delivery address, then click Calculate Shipping Rates.
- Look for the Local Delivery option.
Notes:
- If the address is outside our local delivery area, your order will be shipped via courier instead. Please allow 1 business day for processing.
- If you need a rush order just outside the delivery area, contact hello@cheerfetti.ca.
Currently, we can only ship to one address per order.
If you’d like to send gifts to multiple addresses in the same order, please email hello@cheerfetti.ca and we’ll be happy to help you put your order together.
Before placing your order:
- From the cart page, click Checkout.
- Next to Ship to, click the down arrow.
- You may see a list of previously used addresses.
- At the bottom of the list, click Use a different address to add a new shipping address.
If you notice an incorrect address after you placed your order:
- Email hello@cheerfetti.ca ASAP with the correct address.
While we don't have a retail store, if you prefer to pickup your order from our Westphal location (near Main St. and Lake Major Rd.), please email hello@cheerfetti.ca. We will send you a promo code so that you don't have to pay for shipping.
Shipping to the US is paused indefinitely as of February 2, 2025.
When It Will Arrive
Order processing:
- Individual orders are processed and shipped on business days (weekdays, excluding holidays) within 1 business day of being placed.
- During peak holiday times (e.g., Christmas, Mother’s Day), please allow an extra business day for processing.
Standard shipping transit times:
- Nova Scotia (outside local delivery zone), New Brunswick, and PEI: 1–2 business days
- Ontario and Quebec: 2–3 business days
- Smaller towns, remote areas, central and western Canada, Newfoundland: 5–10 business days
Express shipping:
- Rates available at checkout.
- Generally takes 1–2 business days to any location.
Tracking & estimates:
- Checkout shows an estimated shipping timeframe.
- Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number.
- If you want an estimate before placing your order, reach out via website chat or email hello@cheerfetti.ca.
Availability: Monday through Friday (except Oct 6 & 8: orders for these dates can still be delivered if placed in advance).
Order cutoff time: Same-day delivery orders must be placed by 11:00 AM ADT (10:00 AM EST).
Eligibility: Same-day delivery is only available in the local delivery zone (i.e., when “Local Delivery” appears as a shipping option at checkout).
OPTIONAL: You can choose a date for delivery (Halifax only) or shipping (rest of Canada).
Halifax deliveries:
- Select a delivery date and choose LOCAL DELIVERY from the list of shipping options at checkout.
- Same-day and Saturday (when available) delivery are only available in the Halifax local delivery zone when using the LOCAL DELIVERY option.
Rest of Canada:
- Choose your ship date (Monday–Friday only) and your preferred shipping speed at checkout.
- Local delivery (Halifax & Dartmouth): We always call or text the recipient ahead of time if they live in a condo or apartment building to ensure someone is available for delivery.
- Recipients may receive a text with their tracking link on the day of delivery so they know to expect the gift.
- If you have any specific delivery requests, please leave a note at checkout.
We love surprises, but we love to make sure your gift makes its way into the hands of the lucky recipient even more. We ask for the phone number of the gift recipient to ensure the gift can be delivered when they're home, mainly if they live in an apartment/condo building or on a busy street. We won't reveal any information about the contents or who it's from, so it'll still be a surprise.

Absolutely, and we carry a wide selection of items so you can customize your gift box to you liking. Simply start off with the all-inclusive gift box and add your selections to the cart, and we'll take care of the rest.
- If you’re sending a gift directly to someone, we strongly recommend getting a gift box to make the experience extra special.
- If you’re buying goodies for yourself and don’t mind a plain shipping box, you can skip the gift box.
Yes! Just include your note in the message section for the greeting card you decide to go with.
If you'd like to include only a short note (max. 125 characters / approx. 25 words), you can leave one on the gift tag. There's a space to write this note on each gift box page, whether you're building your own gift box or shopping from our selection of curated gift boxes.
Returns
All sales are final. In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged item, please contact us asap at hello@cheerfetti.ca. Our full return policy is available here.
